Hello, fellow netrunners.

While we may have a hacker harassing our social media (not really; see Anniversary Event, below), I wanted to give a quick update since it’s been some months since chapter 3A’s launch.

There’s a lot of different things cooking, and while ideally I would have better spaced these out, the reality is everything is sort of coming to completion all at once. Our production cycle is already lengthy, so I’m not in favor of artificially delaying content, so eat well:

• Public release of the Bringing the Heat podcast, episode 2 is coming very soon. This is three times the length of episode 1, so there’s a lot to enjoy. I’ll make a separate post about this when it’s ready.
• Chapter 3B is estimated for an early October release. The exact timing depends on testing, since we’re yet again introducing some new quality of life features that’ll need to be examined for bugs.
• For those of you who enjoy my occasional essays on development philosophy, I’ve expanded to doing some shortform essays you can view on my personal social media via the String Zero twitter / bluesky.

The Anniversary Event

There will be a proper announcement post for this soon, but I just wanted to have written in words somewhere that our social media has been “hijacked” by a mischievous Jazzrunner known as ey0ne. As a netrunner who has some beef with the Cybersea Collective (CSC) he’s taken to borrowing their (our) social media and bank accounts to drum up a little trouble in the form of YCH art raffles with some of the String Zero cast.
