Every now and again I think “I should do quarterly updates!” and then don’t. 😂

So in honor of last year’s third quarter update that I didn’t continue, here’s another quick one!

Upcoming Content

• “Bringing the Heat” Podcast, episode 3
  • This has been put on indefinite hold due to production problems. It will still be released, but it will very much be an “it’s ready when it’s ready.”
• Chapter 5 Beta and Public Release
  • We’re trying to release the beta at the end of this month (September), but we’re still waiting on some integral art assets to be delivered before that can be possible. At worst, it should be available in October.
  • Public release will come a month or so after that.

Chapter 5 is longer than Chapter 4 by a fair margin, and Chapter 4 was already long, so we’re talking quite a bit of content. That said, this steady increase in chapter size is not intentional, and in hindsight, I really should have broken Chapter 5 into two parts.

I’ve explained in detail what our production process is like, so if you’re curious why things take so long, take a peek back at older dev updates. In addition, this chapter went through several different rewrites and editorial passes that doubled the usual editorial time. Oof!
